General Notices

As a public notice it is announced that the Farmers’ Social Insurance Institution of Finland Mela has decisions or documents that the Farmers’ Social Insurance Institution Mela has not been able to deliver to the concerned parties in any other way.

The decisions or documents relate to an occupational pension, accident or disease insurance matter. They relate to a matter that is important for the rights and obligations of the person concerned.

The general notification is deemed to have taken place on the seventh day following the publication of the notice (Section 62(3) of the Administrative Code). If the notification concerns a decision, the time limit for appealing the decision is 30 days from the date of notification. The general notice will be removed from Mela’s website 30 + 7 days after its publication.

The documents to be submitted for information are available to the concerned person by logging in to Mela’s online customer service and on request at the Farmers’ Social Insurance Institution of Finland Mela (Revontulenpuisto 2 C, 02100 Espoo). There is no time limit on the period of access to the documents to be disclosed.
